Screencast 1

This is our first screencast for microtasking.net.

Here is the text of the video, transcribed into English:

Welcome to the Microtasking Screencast. In this session, we will do a quick walkthrough of creating a microtask - showing how you can easily outsource those little tasks on your plate that never quite get done.

Here on the main page, all of the required steps are shown on the right.

To start, give us a task. In this case I wrote:

Please transcribe this video that I will have uploaded to this URL into English.

Next, estimate the size of the task. Small is roughly an hour’s time, medium is two hours, then half and full-day tasks. If the task given cannot be completed in the allotted time, we will contact you immediately and refund your purchase price.

Note the total amount here.

Now, Let’s click the… check the “Do My Work” button.

This is merely a standard Google Checkout that takes the order.

After checking out, you will be able to review your task. This data is populated by the contact information from your Google Checkout account.

And that’s it! There couldn't be a simpler way to utilize a virtual assistant.

If you look our blog at blog.microtasking.net, you will see the transcription of this video.

So I hope you have enjoyed this short Screencast and that you will be inspired to try your own micro assistant.
